A few practical things to keep in mind

  1. For current health service and policy information, begin with the Ministry of Public Health website.
  2. Ask your employer or insurer how your cover works, which providers are in-network, and what to do in an urgent situation.
  3. Bring any regular medication in its original packaging and check current import rules with the Ministry of Public Health before travel.
  4. For an emergency in Qatar, call 999. For non-emergency care, check the current official MOPH guidance and your coverage.
