Your first 72 hours in Qatar

A steady first-day plan: connect, get oriented, and leave the paperwork for daylight.

A few practical things to keep in mind

  1. Get connected using a local SIM or your accommodation’s Wi‑Fi, and save your accommodation address offline.
  2. Keep your passport and entry documents somewhere secure; carry only what you need for the day.
  3. Use a licensed taxi or a clearly identified ride service from the airport. Ask your accommodation to confirm its location and check-in details before you travel.
  4. Take the first day slowly. Qatar’s climate, time zone and travel day can all catch up with you.
